Associate Minister for Youth & Families

About the Role

The post is available from Easter, but a starting date between then and September could be agreed.
This is a full-time, senior leadership position in a large conservative evangelical Anglican church, for someone with good experience and training in Bible-Centred Youth Ministry, who sees ministry among young people and families as part of a long-term calling. The Associate Minister (Youth & Families) has oversight of St Peter’s extensive and varied ministry with children, teenagers and families, and works with the other pastors in leadership across the whole church.

This will involve not only a passion for the gospel of Christ and proclaiming his word to young people and families of all backgrounds, but also the management and encouragement of the Youth & Families Worker, and a large team of volunteer leaders and helpers.
Those who may have either less experience or less formal theological training than specified are still encouraged to apply, since the post could alternatively be offered at Senior Youth & Families Worker level, without the wider pastoral role across the church.
Salary: £23-25k, with suitable accommodation provided and generous pension provision.
Closing date for applications: 28th February 2020.
Interview date: Friday 13th March 2020.
Start date: Flexible before September 2020.
